Blog Debut/Mother's Day Giveaway

I'm so excited to finally present this giveaway. I've had a couple of people who have been kind enough to help me jump start my adventure in blogging by spreading the word and giving me tips and advice. Thank you Lavonne of QC Coupon Mom for your kindness and generosity. I know that my Facebook page and this blog is just a baby, but you really did help me get my first few followers.

And finally, back to the giveaway.....

I wanted to celebrate the birth of this blog by having a giveaway of my own. I'm hosting a few other giveaways for other bloggers right now, but this one is specifically a giveaway hosted by me. I'm big on crafts and I have dabbled in so many kinds that I have so many things just lying around waiting to be used or taken. I figured that the best items to give away should be useful and heartfelt. Mother's day is just around the corner and what better way to show the greatest woman that you love her than to give her a sweet set of handmade soaps and candle tarts?

How cute are these, right? The winner of this giveaway will get 2 soaps and 4 candle tarts; 1 soap is a blackberry musk scent and the other is the scent of a rose bouquet that's been freshly cut from a field of green, dewy grass. Two of the candle tarts are scented with sweet and subtle vanilla while the other 2 is a burst of citrus lime verbena. 

For those who have not used candle tarts before, these cuties are just like candles without the wick. You simply drop them into a candle warmer and they'll slowly melt leaving the wonderful scent lingering in your home. I used a soy wax for these so they'll last much longer than your typical paraffin candle wax.

The blackberry musk soap is a hot processed soap. I've used wonderful ingredients such as skin conditioning olive oil and coconut oil. They've had the chance to cure for many weeks, which means they should lather up wonderfully leaving your skin soft and supple. The last soap is made using an olive oil melt and pour base. Just like the blueberry musk soap, it contains skin conditioning properties and should leave your skin feeling wonderful.

Finally, we get to the good part. You get to enter this giveaway to win ALL of these goodies. The contest starts April 17th and will be held until May 1 @12:01 Est. All entries will be checked and confirmed. Any entries that has not truthfully been made will automatically be disqualified. Once contest closes, I will confirm all entries and will announce the winner shortly after.
